Interview in the admission procedure

Applicants - based on the decision of the admission committee - participate in an admission interview. The interview is used to assess the candidate's interest, research plan, and professional intelligence. Proven academic student activity is an advantage.

The interview takes place online, typically on the Skype platform. The usual time for admission interviews is the second half of June. The applicant will be notified of the date and time of the interview 1-2 weeks before. The interview is usually attended by the applicant's future supervisor, who offered or accepted the applicant's research topic.

The admission committee may also decide that the academic background of the applicant can be evaluated without an interview (that is, solely on the basis of the submitted documents), so an admission interview is not necessary.
