The Institute of Comparative Law and Legal Theory has organized an intensive week of lectures for the students of the Szeged Law School and the University of Louisville Brandeis Law School during May 10-16, 2019.
The second IP Summer School of the Szeged Law School offers the participants to enhance their knowledge in the field of intellectual property law. The summer school aims to focus on the international and European frameworks of copyright law and industrial property law, as well as the relevant case law. The English language classes provide a problem solving approach for the better understanding of both the doctrinal and practical aspects of intellectual property law. The high quality of education is guaranteed by the local and international professors of the program, as well as the professional organization by the Institute of Comparative Law.
The University of Szeged has launched a new Intellectual Property Law Programme in the Fall Semester of 2013. The training offers participants a chance to deepen their knowledge on copyright, patent and trademark law from experienced Hungarian and foreign professors and practitioners in English and German language.
The Szeged IP Programme was initiated by Prof. Éva Jakab from the Szeged Law School and Prof. Horst-Peter Götting from the Technische Universität Dresden in November 2012.
The IP Center has further concluded cooperation and affiliation agreements with the Institute für Rechtsinformatik of the Leibniz University of Hannover and the Center for the Law of Intellectual Property and Technology (CLIPT) of the University of Baltimore.
