The Szeged IP Programme was initiated by Prof. Éva Jakab from the Szeged Law School and Prof. Horst-Peter Götting from the Technische Universität Dresden in November 2012.

The IP Center has further concluded cooperation and affiliation agreements with the Institute für Rechtsinformatik of the Leibniz University of Hannover and the Center for the Law of Intellectual Property and Technology (CLIPT) of the University of Baltimore.
