As part of his visit and his lecture promoting studies at Penn State Law, Professor Barnes said that as part of a future cooperation between our respective schools our talented law students (in their final year of studies) might have the opportunity to apply for LL.M (Master of Laws) studies at Penn State Law through different student mobility frameworks and scholarships. Following his promotional lecture, he talked to a group of student about how the Supreme Court of the United States extended the Interstate Commerce Clause of the US Constitution to lodging and how this has contributed to the fight for equality of the civil rights movement.
