The British Times Higher Education newspaper that ranks institutions of countries that are classified as „emerging economies” by FTSE (including the “BRICS” nations of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) listed the University of Szeged on the 93th place in 2013. The ranking is based on several different features of universities, including the teaching conditions, research and the quotations of the publications. Further, innovation and international outlook of teachers and students are also examined.
