About 32 thousand visitors were on the 12th Educatio exhibition; a couple of thousands of guests were informed about the opportunities the University of Szeged has to offer.
Report on the ”Introduction to the International Trade Law” student competition
The competition was organised by the Department of Private International Law and ELSA (European Law Students’ Association) for the students in “International Relations” (BA) education program, who visited the “Introduction to the International Trade Law” course in this semester. The students could be applied for the competition in three-person teams.
Labour and Social Law Network - a training at the Faculty of Law
On 10-12 May 2011, training on the field of European Labour Law and Social Security was organised for the first time at our Faculty for participants from the South-East European countries, which intend to access the European Union. The lectures, which offered an introduction to the European regulation of the world of employment, were held in English.
Szeged Law Students in the European Round of ELSA WTO Moot Court Competition
One of the two European oral rounds of ”EMC² ELSA Moot Court Competition on WTO Law 2011-2012” was held in Maastricht, the Netherlands between 5th and 9th of March 2012, where the student team of Szeged Law School has competed with success.

University of Szeged introduces itself to French relations.
A new master program in French is starting in Szeged with the cooperation of the Political Science Institution of Lille (Institut des Sciences politiques de Lille) and the Univesity of Szeged. This was the first time the Univesity of Szeged appeared on the French international education fair.

On 12-15 May 2011, our Faculty hosted the 4th Seminar for young researchers on “European Labour Law and Social Law” organised by the Department of Labour Law and Social Security. The working language was English.
