As part of the ongoing academic cooperation initiatives between the University of Szeged, Faculty of Law and Political Sciences and Kozminski University in Warsaw, we had the pleasure of hosting Roman Bieda, a Kozminski University lecturer and the founder of the AI LAW TECH Foundation.

During his visit, we discussed the possibility of deeper academic and scientific cooperation between the two institutions, including student and staff exchanges, as well as joint academic events. While exploring the beautiful city of Szeged, Mr. Bieda delivered a lecture as part of the Master in International Relations Academic Lecture Series (MIRACLE) on quantum technologies and their intersection with EU law.

The session provided a concise overview of how quantum technologies may reshape areas such as data security, encryption, and international regulations. Mr. Bieda made noteworthy remarks regarding the future significance and role of quantum technology as it converges with AI technology. Exploring how rapidly advancing technologies are beginning to influence not only science but also legal frameworks worldwide was a valuable experience.
