University of Szeged Set to Welcome High School Counselors for the 2026 Counselors’ Engagement Day
The University of Szeged will host its upcoming Counselors’ Engagement Day on March 11–12, 2026. Organized by the Office for International Academic Programs – a division of the University’s Directorate for International Affairs and Public Relations – the event is designed to deepen engagement with high school counselors from around the world. Through this initiative, the University of Szeged seeks to strengthen ties with high schools by fostering collaboration and offering valuable insights into the academic programs and resources available to prospective students.
The Gateway Program concluded with the awarding of twenty-one certificates
The closing ceremony of the Gateway Program was held on December 16, 2025, during which twenty-one certificates were awarded, marking the conclusion of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences’ Chinese–Hungarian student exchange program for the fall semester of the 2025-2026 academic year.

For three days in mid-November, diplomacy took center stage in the building of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at the University of Szeged. The Diplomacy Days 2025 event series, organized by the International and Regional Studies Institute, addressed students interested in the world of diplomacy in an unconventional way, equipping them with deeper, practice-oriented knowledge. The event successfully fulfilled its purpose, and it clearly calls for continuation.
