Dr. Wang Rui, Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute noted in her speech that this opening ceremony and this group are memorable not only because they are the first ones to personally participate in the Gateway programme after the pandemic, but also because this year marks the tenth anniversary of the cooperation between the Shanghai International Studies University and the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the University of Szeged. She said that although she has only been in Szeged for five months, she loves the culture and immersing herself in it and she encouraged all students to experience as much as possible during their stay and try to do the same.
