III. Seminarium in Rauischholzhausen

As a continuation of Bosphorus Seminar the Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen organised a workshop in the topic of comparative criminal law for law studenst and young assistants. The event was held in Rauischholzhausen from 22nd November to 25th November 2015, and it was hosted by the head of the host department, Prof. Dr. Walter Gropp.

The lecturers of this workshop were law students and PhD students from the partner universities. They presented the results of their research in thematic blocks. The presentations were taken in German. Each block was ended by a discussion. These debates were moderated by senior jurists: Prof. Dr. Walter Gropp, Dr. Liane Wörner (JLU Gießen); Prof. Dr. Adem Sözüer, Dr. Gotfried Plageman (Istanbul University); Prof. Dr. Krisztina Karsai, Prof. Dr. Ferenc Nagy, Dr. habil. Zsolt Szomora (SZTE-ÁJTK).

In the course of the second part of the seminar the participants worked in groups and tried to find the problematic points of the analyzed regulations and draw progressive legal conclusions with the use of comparative methodology. The result of the joint work were presented in the second part of the seminar.
