The Department of Hungarian Legal History at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the University of Szeged is organizing an international conference entitled
8th Biennial Conference of the European Society for Comparative Legal History: Back to the Past and Building the Future,
with more than 150 Hungarian and international speakers participating.
Date: July 2–3–4, 2025
Venue: 6720 Szeged, Tisza L. krt. 54., Main Building of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences
The local organizing committee in Szeged is pleased to release the official conference program and book of abstracts, both of which can be downloaded below.
Participation in the conference requires prior registration and payment of the registration fee.
The conference will be preceded by a PhD workshop. The event will be held in the main building of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at the University of Szeged. The keynote speakers of the conference are: Prof. Dr. Ulrike Müßig (University of Passau, Germany) and Prof. Dr. Stefan Vogenauer (Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory, Germany).
