Welcome to the website of the Business Law Institute of the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the University of Szeged.

The main research and educational pillars of the Business Law Institute are financial law, banking, securities and capital market law, legal issues of modern economic and business life, such as competition law, public procurement law, consumer protection, as well as agricultural, real estate, environmental and energy law, as well as e-commerce, infocommunication and media law.

Our institute manages a special knowledge-transferring module of legal education, the Business Law Module, with which our goal was to create an innovative training structure adapted to the new technological and economic environment. The aim of the institute is to provide the students of the Faculty with practice-oriented knowledge in the legal issues of the financial, economic and business sectors in addition to theoretical knowledge, in the implementation of which domestic and foreign invited lecturers participate in addition to our colleagues. By reviewing our educational range, you can get an idea of ​​the areas of law where our staff provide up-to-date knowledge reflecting the needs of students and the labor market. In addition, our instructors conduct outstanding international and domestic research in several areas and carry out related publication activities.

The staff of our institute are ready to cooperate closely with students during their university studies, to pass on the knowledge and experience necessary to build their future. We welcome interested students and ask them to participate in the research conducted at the Institute, in the student association work, and to choose one of the Institute's topics as the subject of their thesis.
