Delegation from the Traffic Law School of Shandong Jiaotong University Visited Our Faculty

We are confident that the collaboration between our institutions will pave the way for meaningful and mutually beneficial partnerships in the future.

The partnership between the University of Szeged (SZTE) and China’s Shandong Jiaotong University (SDJTU) was formalized in May 2024 with the signing of a memorandum of understanding, followed by an in-person meeting in Szeged on 11 September 2024.


As part of the deepening collaboration, representatives of the Traffic Law School of Shandong Jiaotong University visited our Faculty on 18 June 2025 to explore opportunities for faculty-level cooperation within the framework of the central agreement.

The delegation was led by Professor Fan Guanfeng, Dean of the Faculty of Traffic Law School, accompanied by Associate Professors Dr. Cui Xiao and Dr. Shi Yunguang. The guests were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Tamás Antal, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences; Prof. Dr. Krisztina Karsai, Director of the Gateway Program and Head of the Institute of Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences; Dr. habil. Anikó Szalai, Dean’s Representative for International Affairs; and Dr. László Gulyás, Assistant Professor at the International and Regional Studies Institute.

During the meeting, the parties discussed various opportunities for academic cooperation at the faculty level, with special attention to potential joint research and educational projects. Topics included staff and researcher mobility programs, collaborative research initiatives, and the development of joint education programs. The delegation was also introduced to the Faculty’s one-semester long English-language mobility programs, including the Gateway and the newly launched COMPASS program.
